Had a spark of inspiration today to code up a quick version of one of my favourite MS-DOS games. I haven’t felt bothered to code in a while, and have been really unmotivated. Even though this game is just a remake with some additions I like thrown in, it makes me happy to be working on something I love again.

I miss being able to write all night long, being able to create my own visions of the world in scribbled handwriting that is somehow reminiscent of modern day Arabic. I don’t know how to start again though, and I fear that somehow I’ve lost the drive I need to continue with even the simplest of tasks. I’m tired.

Something has changed, and I’m not entirely sure what, but I’m coming to see how badly it is affecting me. I need a breath of fresh air.

So. Much. Code.

I really cannot wait to spend next week with my Mum. I miss her so much.

I just want money for tattoos, books and films and parts for my car.
